Plastic Bottle Masonry Toilet to be constructed at Gandhi Maidan, Bongaigaon. Foundation Stone laid on World Toilet Day.

Dr. M.S.Lakshmi Priya, IAS, DC Bongaigaon has laid foundation stone of 'Plastic Bottle Masonry Toilet' to be constructed at Gandhi Maidan, Bongaigaon on 19 November 2020, on the occasion of World Toilet Day, 2020.

Deputy Commissioner, Bongaigaon Dr. M.S.Lakshmi Priya, IAS, today on the eve of World Toilet Day, 2020, laid foundation stone of 'Plastic Bottle Masonry Toilet' to be constructed under District Water and Sanitation Committee, Bongaigaon in the Gandhi Maidan premises.

This toilet will be constructed using colorful putty mixture filled in waste plastic bottles.

Speaking on the event DC Bongaigaon appreciated PHE department for coming up with such an innovative initiative under DWSC, Bongaigaon for utilizing the plastic wastes to facilitate quality sanitation to the society.

ADCs Anupam Deka and G.P.Agarwala, Asst. commissioner Kabita Deka, DIO( NIC), E.E PHE and his staff and other concerned officials and persons were present on the event.
