Dry Run for COVID-19 Vaccination held in Bongaigaon.

Along with all other districts across the state, 'Dry Run for COVID-19 Vaccination' successfully held in Bongaigaon district today.

The health team of the district today conducted dry run sessions at four sites in Bongaigaon district namely Bongaigaon Civil Hospital, Manikpur Modal Hospital, Abhayapuri Community Health Centre and at Lower Assam Hospital under close supervision of Deputy Commissioner Bongaigaon Dr. Lakshmi Priya.

The main objective behind this dry run is to provide the beneficiaries an idea about the vaccination process which is coming into real practice very soon and be well prepared for the possible consequences.

A total 25 numbers of identified test beneficiaries ( health care workers) participated in the dry run sessions under each site. These beneficiaries will be the very first recipient of the most awaited COVID-19 vaccine.

The data of these identified test beneficiaries have been uploaded in the 'Co-Win' portal by the concerned authority and these beneficiaries will be intimated via mobile sms on the previous day of the vaccination coming into real practice.

DC Bongaigaon herself today participated as a beneficiary in the COVID-19 vaccination dry run drill at Bongaigaon Civil Hospital to ensure the feasibility of the entire process stepwise and to realise the possible consequences that may occur when the vaccination will get a real start in the district.

In every session site, there will be three rooms- waiting room, vaccination room, observation room and a set of four numbers of officers for ensuring experience of a smooth vaccination process.
