Loan Mela 2021 held in Bongaigaon: Record amount of 12.17 Cr. distributed among beneficiaries

A Loan Mela was held today at District Library, Bongaigaon organized by District Administration, Bongaigaon in collaboration with the financial institutes of the district in supervision of Lead District Manager, Bongaigaon.

The program was inaugurated by the Deputy Commissioner Bongaigaon, Dr. M S Lakshmipriya, IAS. Sri G P Agarwala, ADC, Sri Guru Pada Halder, AGM, Regional Business Office, SBI Bongaigaon, Sri Naresh C Roy, Regional Manager, AGVB, Kokrajhar ,RM, Central Bank of India, Sri S K Srivastava, HODs of various govt departments and Branch Managers from various banks were present in the loan mela.

In the inaugural speech, DC Bongaigaon ask all beneficiaries to utilise the loan amount to turn their actual objectives behind applying the loan into reality without prioritizing other personal issues and necessities.

Further she appreciated the hard labour and effort put by the banks for making it possible to issue loan sanction letters for a record amount of Rs.121671002/- to priority sector in a single day.

Sanction letters were distributed to 583 nos of beneficiaries under the following Govt. Sponsored Schemes:

1. PM Street Vendors Atma Nirbhar Scheme.
2. SHG Bank linkage under National Urban Livelihoods Mission and National Rural Livelihoods Mission.
3. PM Mudra Yojana.
4. KCC loan.
5. PMEGP
6. Fishery
7. Piggery
8. Dairy
