Employment Review Committee arrived in Bongaigaon

Bongaigaon,15th Sept. 2021: Employment Review Committee of Assam Legislative Assembly arrived at Bongaigaon yesterday in the afternoon headed by Lawrance Islary, MLA,Kokrajhar (East) LAC. Other members of the Committee are Rupak Sarma, MLA, Nagaon LAC, Sibu Mishra, MLA, Lumding LAC, Suren Phukan, MLA, Digboi LAC, Abdul Baten Khandakar, MLA, Abhayapuri North LAC, Diganta Barman, MLA, Barkhetry LAC, Prithiraj Rabha, MLA, Tezpur LAC and Jayanta Basumatary MLA, Sidli LAC.

Lawrance Islary presided over today's meeting held in conference hall of DC Office, Bongaigaon in presence of Dr. M S Lakshmi Priya, IAS, Deputy Commissioner, Bongaigaon along with other dignitaries and officials of Bongaigaon District Administration and departmental officers.

The Chairman of the Employment Review Committee says that the purpose of the committee is to take accounts of vacant posts in various departments, how many posts are sanctioned posts, how many outsoaring persons, roster maintenance is doing or not, they report to Government about these matters. After that the Government takes steps to fill up the posts.

In Bongaigaon, there is necessity of manpower in Tourism department along with officer and staffs. On the other hand there are so many vacant posts in APDCL, District Industry and Commerce Centre, Bongaigaon, Skill Development department etc. The Chairman says that they will report the Government about these so that next step to fulfill the vacant posts can be processed.
