ASSAM FLOOD 2022: a detail overview as on date

Bongaigaon: 20th June 2022: Assam disaster management authority’s report stated that 30,99,762 people have been affected by floods. 4,296 villages in 32 districts of the state have been affected by floods in the last 24 hrs,1,56,365 inmates have taken shelter in 514 relief camps.

ASDMA (Assam state disaster management authority) on Saturday said that 8 deaths reported on 24 hrs, 2 people were buried alive in a landslide and 6 drowned in flood, Assam continue to reel under flood taking the death toll to 81 as on 20th June 2022.

Many roads and 3226 hectares of cropland in the district have been submerged by flood.

The 5 revenue circle of Bongaigaon, Manikpur, Dangtol, Boitamari and Srijangram all the revenue circle of Bongaigaon district are flooded today.

80,586 people from 110 villages under 5 revenue circles are affected by flood. A total of 18 relief camps have been opened in 5 revenue circles for the victims and 44441 people are taking shelter in the camps including 110 pregnant women and mothers of breastfeeding.

2908 hectares of cropland are flooded and a total of 202817 animals are affected by the flood.
