BJP Assam expelled two party leaders from Bongaigaon district

Bongaigaon, 18th November 2022 : 
Two BJP leaders from Bongaigaon district have been expelled from the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), Assam Pradesh.

In a statement signed by BJP state president Bhabesh Kalita, Bongaigaon district BJP Mahila Morcha president, Saraju Devi was expelled from the BJP with effect from 18 November 2022.

On the other hand, Prabin Das, district secretary of Bongaigaon district BJP unit, was also suspended.

The statement said the party expelled two BJP leaders for trying to crush the BJP-controlled Abhayapuri Municipality with the help of the opposition and conspiring against the party.
