The Abhayapuri Community Health Center's in-charge, Dr. Frisapt Marak, gave a welcome speech in which he described the various ways that zoonotic diseases spread, including direct and indirect contact,vactorborne and excretory factors, and the saliva of infected animals, blood transfusions, electrolytes, contaminants of the surface area where the animals live and roam, raw animal milk,halfcooked meat, and insect bites like chikra or mosquito flies. As a result, everyone is urged to exercise caution and get in touch with the closest medical facility.
A power point presentation detailing the entire animal vaccination process was subsequently presented by Dr. Jyoti Chanda Kalita SVD, a veterinarian Doctor from the Animal Husbandry Department. For example, she explained that every pet dog or cat must get a vaccination once a year at the age of three months, following a booster shot the following month. Additionally this, veterinary doctor Saurabh Jyoti Talukdar raised awareness by stating that it is crucial to administer the injection on the day of the dog or cat bite, three days later, seven days later, and at intervals of fourteen and twenty-eight days, respectively.
Principal of the school Mr. Nipan Pathak, District Media Expert Sangeeta Das from the health department, Veterinary Doctor SVD Bhabdhar Majumdar, Dr. Chayanika Majumdar, Dr. Mamta Karmakar, Dr. Trilochan Barman, Dr. Uttam Choudhury, and other school staff and students attended the meeting.
