In a significant step towards women’s economic empowerment, 23,949 women SHG members from 16 Abhayapuri LACs received ₹10,000 each to support and strengthen their entrepreneurial aspirations.
The event, held at Abhayeswari H.S. & M.P. School Playground, Abhayapuri, was attended by several distinguished dignitaries, including Guardian Minister Shri Ranjit Kumar Dass, MP-Barpeta HPC Shri Phani Bhushan Choudhary, MLA, Bongaigaon LAC Smt. Diptimoyee Choudhury, and District Commissioner, Bongaigaon Shri Nabadeep Pathak.
Adding to the momentous occasion, the Chief Minister also unveiled the grand Statue of Rani Abhayeswari, newly installed within the school premises, amidst an enthusiastic gathering of attendees and well-wishers.
