IOCL Bongaigaon Hands Over Healthcare Assets Under CSR Initiative

Bongaigaon, June 23: In a major boost to healthcare infrastructure in Bongaigaon district, the Indian Oil Corporation Limited (IOCL) successfully organized a handing-over ceremony under its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative at the DC's Conference Hall, Bongaigaon.

As part of the initiative, IOCL provided two vehicles to the District Health Department under NHM Bongaigaon, along with medical equipment and a patient-carrying ambulance for M.G. Model Hospital, Srijangram. The support package also included X-ray and dental equipment, handheld X-ray machines for the District TB Centre, Bongaigaon, and Clinical Breast Examination (CBE) equipment to strengthen breast health screening services.

The assets were formally handed over by Shri N. K. Baruah, Executive Director, IOCL, in the presence of the Hon'ble Member of Parliament from Barpeta Constituency, the Hon'ble MLA of Bongaigaon LAC, the District Development Commissioner, Additional District Commissioner, Joint Director of Health Services, Bongaigaon, health officials, and representatives of IOCL.

The initiative is expected to significantly improve diagnostic and screening facilities and enhance healthcare service delivery across the district, benefiting thousands of patients while strengthening Bongaigaon's public health infrastructure.
