VB-G RAM G Awareness and Launch Programme Successfully Held in Bongaigaon

Bongaigaon, July 2: In consonance with the nationwide official launch of the Vikshit Bharat Guarantee for Rozgar and Ajeevika Mission (Gramin) (VB-G RAM G) by the Hon’ble Union Minister for Rural Development from Tirupati, Andhra Pradesh, in the august presence of the Hon’ble Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, the Bongaigaon Zila Parishad successfully organized a grand VB-G RAM G Awareness and Launch Programme on Wednesday.

The programme was held at 11:00 A.M. at the Auditorium Hall of Tapattary Development Block and witnessed the presence of several distinguished dignitaries. Among those present were Hon’ble MLA of Abhayapuri LAC, Sri Bhupen Ray; District Commissioner of Bongaigaon, Sri Lakhinandan Saharia, ACS; President of Bongaigaon Zila Parishad, Smti Mridula Singha; Chief Executive Officer of Bongaigaon Zila Parishad, Sri Gaya Prasad Agarwal, ACS; Co-District Commissioner, Smti Shanta Karki Chetri, ACS; Zila Parishad Member, Sri Keramat Ali; AP President, Sri Rajib Ali; and Block Development Officer of Tapattary Development Block, Sri Gautam Lal Mazumdar, along with other dignitaries.

The programme witnessed enthusiastic participation from PRI representatives, government officials, Self Help Group (SHG) members, job card holders, local clubs, eminent citizens, members of the public, and media representatives. Their active involvement reflected a strong collective commitment towards the successful implementation of the VBGRAMG initiative in the district.

At the outset, the Chief Executive Officer of Bongaigaon Zila Parishad welcomed the gathering and elaborately explained the objectives, vision, and significance of VB-G RAM G. The mission aims to strengthen rural livelihoods and enhance employment opportunities through a structured and inclusive approach.

Addressing the gathering, the dignitaries highlighted the importance of the mission and appealed to all stakeholders to actively participate in its effective implementation. They emphasized that coordinated efforts are essential to ensure that the benefits of the scheme reach every eligible rural household.

The programme also served as an important awareness platform, enabling participants to gain a clear understanding of the mission’s objectives, implementation strategy, and expected outcomes.

The event concluded successfully with active interaction among participants and a collective resolve to ensure the effective and timely implementation of VB-G RAM G across Bongaigaon district through coordinated efforts of all stakeholders.
