Vande Bharat start commercialy fuctioning in North East from today : National

The first Vande Bharat of North East India Connecting New Jalpaiguri (NJP) to Guwahati (GHY) was flagged off by Prime Minister Narendra Modi virtually on 29 May. The train started operating commercially today, 31st May 2023 (Wednesday).

"The last nine years have been of unprecedented achievements for India. After coming to power, our government gave the highest priority to the welfare of the poor and infrastructure for all -- without discrimination. That's why this infrastructure construction is also true social justice in a way," Modi said.

This new train will change the course of transportation by reducing the time, which is most required for the modern age of today. It will gradually improve the quality of life and increase Tourism in the state.
“Today is a big day for the rail connectivity in the entire Northeast including Assam,” the PM said.

All about the new and improved features of Vande Bharat:-

* CCTV camera to provide full security.

* Bio Vaccume Toilet and separate toilet for Disabled people.

* Rotatable chairs for Executive Class.

* Spacious and comfortable seating accommodations And Washrooms

* Free Snacks and hot beverages.

* News Paper and Water bottles will be provided for each Passenger.

* Optional Meals for an Extra amount can be availed. (Breakfast - Milk with cereals & fruits)

* Well-behaved Staff.

Attracting more Travellers towards the naturally enriched North-eastern Part of the country. Vande Bharat is certainly a very good Government initiative and people here are looking forward to more innovations and modernization from the government of India.
